Fish.Net is a small, happy and busy technology company
in Saddleworth whose work encompasses websites, e-commerce,
databases, networks, and other aspects of communications,
Internet and IT for businesses.
Saddleworth is on the western slopes of the Pennines,
halfway between Oldham and Huddersfield, within easy
reach of Tameside, Rochdale, Manchester and the west
Yorkshire towns, and less than 15 minutes away from
the M60 & M62.
We are currently recruiting
for the following positions: |
Fish.Net are looking for a Web Designer / Developer to join our friendly, busy Web team. Our sites cover static, database driven,
and full e-commerce sites, for a wide variety of customers. Dependent on your particular strengths, you will be working on Web projects
from conceptual/graphic design, through to detailed and complete implementation.
Ideally, you'll have some (not necessarily all) of these qualities:
- degree qualified with Web experience gained from practical design and/or implementation of effective Web sites
- good Web design and html authoring skills, using tools such as Dreamweaver, Fireworks and Flash
- be comfortable manipulating raw html and integrating with scripts
- have coding skills in php and SQL, with some experience of JavaScript, CSS, and/or (X)HTML
You'll definitely be able to
- write and speak English to a good standard
- communicate clearly and coherently with customers and the other Fish.Net team members
- work with customers to develop their requirements
- manage customers, projects, timescales, deadlines.
At interview we will expect you to demonstrate and show examples of your previous Web work, and highlight your role in
the project developments.
